Tari and I (Wayne) Have been in Wisconsin since August of 1982. We moved to Watertown so I could attend Maranatha Baptist Bible College and receive a degree in Pastoral Studies.
Naomi was born August 16th, 1982. Lydia was born September 19th, 1984. The girls currently go to school at Maranatha Baptist Bible College. They both work at McDonalds so they can earn their way through college.
Tari is a 5th grade teacher at Calvary Baptist Christian School. She enjoys working with her students. Bible quizzing consumes a lot of her time, but has been very rewarding to see the students participation. They have participated in number of Quizing matches placing first or second place.
I currently work in the Air National Guard in Madison, Wisconsin; where I work on the avionics of the F-16 Aircraft.
Updates:
01/08/2003
Tari had her 50th birthday, while Wayne on the same day celebrated his 48th.
Tari's 5th grade students all came dressed in black, while the teachers brought in nice food dishes for lunch and had the traditional "Over The Hill" theme waiting for her. I wisely, did not play up on her turning 50 or being over the hill.
I arrived safely on United Airlines from Madison to Denver then Denver to Oakland. My parents were waiting for me at the curb. I was a little sleepless. I stayed at work through the night then caught a cab over to the Madison Airport. After my parents picked me up we stopped at a Chinese Buffet resturant close to the airport. Once I got home I took a nap to catch up on my sleep. We visited a bit in the evening. Pat also came over for a soup dinner. Mave, Pat's friend, came over to look at Wayne's throat to see if I had strep. But it was her determination that I didn't. While I was on the plane at hight altitude I thought my ears were going to pop.
