Ron Millin was a wonderful neighbor to us. He was like a grandpa to our girls and enjoyed teasing them on occaisions. We shared the same driveway but that was not a problem between us but rather an example of a bonding friendship.  Ron would quite often snow plow not only his side of the driveway, but ours also. I would in turn clear whatever remained with the shovel or shovel the sidewalks while he did the driveway.

He was a hard worker that put the younger folks to shame.  He took pride in doing things for his wife "Honey" Mary Ellen and enjoyed working in his garden and yard.  He also would help John Arzberger in the apple orchard when it came time for spraying the apples or picking apples.  Hard work never seemed to fade even when he had suffered from several heart attacks.
We really enjoyed Ron and Honey as neighbors and we will truly miss them.
