"HI-HO HI-HO, Off to Hato Airport and Work We Go"
Our first stop, on the way to work was the "Hot Road Bread Shop"  where you could pick up a nice sandwich for a decent locals price, rather than the tourist price.  Not seen is the yard area off to the right fenced in by a live and/or dead cactus fence.  No need for an electric fence around here.  Just grow your fence, no need to purchase barbed wire either.
We pass by this lookout of our work area where our planes are located. We named this lookout "Snipers Lookout" . It looked like the perfect spot for a drug cartel member to take shots at us.
The airport is parallel to the north side of the island surf.  The north side is not a good side to be on for snorkeling or scuba diving.  The waves are quite big and the coral cliffs very jagged.  Fall in, and your gone!
This is our combination locker room/changing area, work area, and eating area.  We had someone  assigned to fix nice dinners for us while we were there.
To the left is Mark Wheat changing into his uniform just before work.  To the left or north of the ISU containers is where the aircraft are located.  The first week that we were there, our shop kept very busy with repairing aircraft problems.

"Coronet Night Hawk"
A drug interdiction/surveillence mission to identify and report aircraft and boats suspicious of drug trafficing.
